Brief BackgroundRick O’Connor Rick O’Connor possesses over 35 years of residential lending experience encompassing retail, wholesale, correspondent and construction lending, operations, underwriting, secondary marketing, investor relations and training in sales, management and underwriting. His experience includes government, conventional, jumbo, niche and sub-prime programs. Experience also includes software and web-site development. As Executive Vice President/Residential Production for CrossLand Mortgage, he was responsible for Retail, Wholesale, Correspondent, and Construction lending. Under his guidance, residential production increased from $5 million to in excess of $400 million per month. As Vice President Wholesale Lending for First Mortgage Corporation, Rick managed the production, underwriting, funding, and product generation for the wholesale lending division. In addition Rick was an integral part of establishing SecondaryMarkets.com which was an Internet oriented mortgage banking firm. During the set up of that company he created an automated underwriting and pricing system. During this time he has set multiple customer service and production records. He has been involved in branch management for both North American Mortgage and Fleet Mortgage. Because of his broad knowledge, he has been a guest speaker for the CAMB and CMBA and many other industry seminars as well as offered D.R.E. approved classes for knowledge and credits towards Department of Real Estate licenses. Rick has lectured and taught seminars for the industry and college level classes in sales, management, underwriting and appraisal review. |
